PTO Style

There are multiple Crankshafts available. Please contact me if you have questions about which crank you need to order.

1) Standard Rotation - This means the PTO rotates CCW, just like a Briggs and Stratton or Honda GX engine.  This is the universal standard (hence standard rotation)

  • Standard Rotation cranks: 3/4" PTO, Stubby Rokon Style, and Vintage Stepped. These cranks has Standard Right-Hand threads and is meant for a counter-clockwise PTO rotation only. This means the PTO sticks out to the Left like a Briggs and Stratton. Or over the left rear wheel if going on a Go Kart. 
  • 3/4" PTO: This is the most universal crankshaft imaginable. Just like a Briggs and Stratton or Honda/Predator engine, the PTO is 3/4", keyed, and has 5/16-24 internal threads. This means clutch options are almost unlimited. This is the perfect option for you Rokon, Mini Bike, or Go Kart. 
  • VINTAGE STEPPED: 5/8" shoulder with #8 Woodruff Key, then stepped down to 9/16" with RH 7/16-20 threads. 
  • STUBBY CRANK: works with your vintage Rokon's.

2) Reverse Rotation - This means the PTO rotates CW, just like a Mac go kart engine, most chainsaws, and Snorunners. 

  • These are your 820 Crankshafts in Clockwise PTO rotation. This means that the PTO or Clutch side of the Crankshaft sticks out to the right if you're standing behind your kart/bike. PTO Options are Tapered, 3/4" Stock Stroke, 3/4" Stroker, and Vintage Stepped
  • 3/4" PTO: This is the most universal crankshaft imaginable. The PTO is 3/4", keyed, and has 5/16-24 LH internal threads. This means clutch options are almost unlimited. This is the perfect option for you Snorunner, Mini Bike, or Go Kart 
  • TAPERED PTO: This crankshaft has incorporated a tapered PTO in order to use a variety of wet and dry clutches typically used McCulloch engines like the Rev-Grip or Max Torque clutch. The stroke is stock 1.625 inches. The threads on the flywheel side of the crankshaft are Left-Hand (reversed) threads, and the PTO has a woodruff keyway, 10 deg taper, and Right-Hand threads.   
  • 3/4" STROKER: If you're looking for a little more Power, turn your 820 into a 894 (or 940 with big bore kit) with a "simple" crank swap. CW PTO rotation only. This crank has Reversed Left-Hand threads,  and is meant for a Clockwise PTO rotation only.  Upgrade your Snorunner today!
  • VINTAGE STEPPED: 5/8" shoulder with #8 Woodruff Key, then stepped down to 9/16" with LH 7/16-20 threads.
