Recoil Starter

THESE WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR VINTAGE FAIRBANKS MORSE ALUMINUM STARTER CUPS. 
This recoil is only compatible with a modern PVL flywheel with built in starter cup, or the steel cup. This will not work with your vintage aluminum cup.  

• REVERSE rotation recoil. The PTO rotates CW and the Flywheel rotates CCW. 
• STANDARD rotation recoil. The PTO rotates CCW, and the Flywheel rotates CW. 

- The Reverse recoil is intended for a reverse rotation engines, such as an 82002 go-kart engine or Snorunner, which has a CCW rotating Flywheel and a CW rotating PTO. Please ensure your engine's configuration matches this specification before purchasing.

- The Standard recoil is intended for standard rotation engines, such as the 82001, or Mini Bike engines. The PTO rotates just like a Briggs and Stratton, and the flywheel rotates CW.
